Brews News: Northpaw opens in PoCo; Phillips Backyard Weekender kicks off; GIB launches its Summer Mingler

Northpaw opens in PoCo

Port Coquitlam finally has its first craft brewery with the official opening of Northpaw Brewing earlier this week. The new 3,700-square-foot brewery in Fremont Village is serving up 12 taps of West Coast-inspired beers, like the Above The Clouds Imperial IPA and the JPA (Jamaican Pale Ale), courtesy of head brewer Dennis Smit. Northpaw has began contract brewing last year and has already brewed collabs with their neighbours at Foamers’ Folly, Ridge Brewing and Moody Ales.

The new brewery and tasting room is located at 2150-570 Sherling Place, in Port Coquitlam. Visit NorthpawBrewCo.com for more info.
