Tap & Barrel is opening its 240-seat patio at their flagship North Vancouver location in Lower Lonsdale this Friday, and it might be the best place in the province to enjoy B.C. craft beer al fresco.
The patio—which is designed to operate year-round thanks to outdoor heaters and fire pits—features a full-service outdoor bar with 52 taps of local B.C. craft beer and premium wine.
“We are blessed to be living in this bountiful province,” said Tap & Barrel founder Daniel Frankel said in a press release on Tuesday. “We feel so fortunate to have the ability to curate such great local experiences, starting with these magical spaces, working with the best local producers, artists and of course passionate people that bring it all to life.”
The patio sits next to the new Polygon Gallery along with the new water feature nestled in between. The Tap & Barrel restaurant group has won numerous awards for best patios, best B.C. beer list, and best B.C. wine list. The patio at Tap & Barrel Shipyards officially opens this Friday at 4pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto.
