Strange Fellows and Townsite Brewing team up for latest Growler collab beer

Volume 4 of The Growler’s B.C. Brewer Collaboration Series is here, and we’re pretty excited about it.

White as winter snow and fruitier than a partridge in a pear tree, Poire Blanche (4.8% ABV, 21 IBU) is what happens when two of B.C.’s foremost makers of Belgian-style beer—East Vancouver’s Strange Fellows Brewing and Powell River’s Townsite Brewing—team up for a brew. This witbier is brewed with B.C. pears and features Sterling and Cascade hops for a West Coast twist on the Belgian classic. Subtle pear and floral notes are complemented by a light citrus character that’s sure to get you through the winter.

Poire Blanche is available at Strange Fellows and Townsite breweries, in both 650 mL bottles and on draught. You can also find bottles of the latest Growler collab at private liquor stores across the province, including: Darby’s Liquor Store (Vancouver), Legacy Liquor (Vancouver), High Point Beer Wine Spirits (Vancouver), Jak’s Dunbar (Vancouver), Jak’s Granville (Vancouver), Jak’s Parkcrest (Burnaby), Jak’s New West (New Westminster), The Arms Pub Liquor Store (Port Coquitlam), Jak’s Maple Ridge (Maple Ridge), Liquor Plus Hillside (Victoria), Spinnakers James Bay (Victoria), Tudor House Liquor Store (Esquimalt), Cascadia Langford (Langford), Liquor Plus Royal Oak (Saanich), Liquor Plus Saanich Centre (Saanich), Liquor Plus Courtenay (Courtenay), Duke’s Liquor Store (Powell River), Blackfish Liquor Store (Gibsons), Stag’s Head Liquor Store (Kamloops), Public Liquor (Kelowna), South Quesnel Liquor Store (Quesnel) and College Heights Liquor Store (Prince George).
