Here’s what we’ll be tossing down our gullets this week…
Dayman by Ravens Brewing Co. (collab with Coal Harbour Brewing)
4.5% ABV • 9 IBU • 473 mL tall cans
Ravens and Coal Harbour teamed to up to create this It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia-themed salted lemon wild ale, which promises to be refreshing and bright, with lemony citrus notes and a little wild funk character. Available at the brewery this weekend and rolling out across the province next week.
The Fool’s Paradise by Vice and Virtue Brewing
5.2% ABV • 23 IBU • 473 mL tall cans
Kelowna’s Vice and Virtue has canned its dry-hopped sour ale, The Fool’s Paradise. Made entirely with new-world neomexicanus hops, including Sabros, Zappa and Medusa, it offers big tropical fruit, citrus and berry flavours with some refreshing tartness. Available at the brewery and select private retailers.
Trifecta by Parallel 49 Brewing
5.0% ABV • 473 mL tall cans
Trifecta hopfenweisse is back, and this time in cans. This hopped-up version on the traditional German hefeweizen is a “a triple-crown combo of hoppy, spicy & fruity,” with notes of banana and clove, along with strawberry, kiwi, lime and jasmine tea thanks to generous dry-hopping with Huell Melon, Meridian and Saphir hops. Available at the brewery and in liquor stores in B.C. and Ontario
