Here’s what we’re substituting for food this week…
Clementine White IPA by Field House Brewing
White India Pale Ale • 6.3% ABV • 20 IBU • 650 mL bottles
This Northeast style IPA from Abbotsford’s Field House Brewing pairs citrus forward hops with freshly zested clementines for a bright and bold beer. Available now in liquor stores and at the brewery.
Copa De Floresta by Camp Beer Co.
Sour ale • 5.1% ABV • Growler fills and 473 mL tall cans
It might be the middle of winter but Langley’s newly opened Camp Beer Co. is getting downright tropical with its newest release, Copa De Floresta. This “Catharina Sour” is a Brazilian-style fruited kettle-soured wheat ale similar to a Berliner Weisse, with mango and pineapple. According to the brewery, it features “fruit-forward flavors and a medium sourness. It’s for all adventurous sour fans.” Limited cans and growler fills only, so you’ll have to go to the brewery to try it.
Legit Snack by Beere Brewing Co.
India Pale Ale • 6.5% ABV • Draught only
North Vancouver’s Beere Brewing Co. double dry-hopped this haze bomb with literal buckets of El Dorado, Cashmere and Citra hops. Expect juicy notes of pineapple, mango and creamy oats.
