Saturday Night Trivia

Come down to Alchemy Brewing and compete with other teams in a general knowledge battle for great prizes, and the coveted Tremendous Trivia trophy. There are also two music rounds, a visual round, mini-games and more! Players will enjoy the discount late night menu and rotating drink specials. 8-10:30 p.m., free entry.

Gladstone Brewing turns 5

Jan. 14 • Gladstone Brewing, Courtenay

Help Gladstone Brewing celebrate its “Appy Anniversary” this Tuesday as the Courtenay brewery turns five. There will be live music, the release of Gladstone’s special Five Year Anniversary Beer, a pairing platter featuring locally made cheeses from Natural Pastures Cheese Company, a host of special appetizers, as well as door prizes containing amazing locally sourced gifts. The party starts at 6 p.m. and runs until closing. Free entry.
