On tap: new fresh hop releases by Category 12, Parkside and Faculty

Here’s a look at some of the newly released fresh-hopped beers we’ll be filling our stomachs with this week…

Internet Famous by Parkside Brewery

6.4% ABV • 473 mL tall cans

This fresh-hopped IPA beer was made in collaboration with the B.C. beer-stagrammers behind @thebeerrater, @crafttourist, @thirstyexplorersclub and @seatoskybeerguy. The beer promises fresh notes of grass and pine alongside a melon and citrus backbone. Made with fresh Cascade, Centennial and Columbus hops harvested directly from Northwest Hop Farms in Chilliwack. Proceeds from the beer support the B.C. Hospitality Foundation, raising funds to support BC hospitality workers in need during health crises.

Fresh Data by Category 12 Brewing

5.0% ABV • 473 mL tall cans

Fresh Data is a fresh-hopped hazy IPA featuring Centennial and Chinook hops grown by Abbotsford’s Bredenhof Farms, harvested at their optimal freshness and transported to our brewery within hours for brewing. Expect aromas of delicate citrus and pine, with grassy notes.

366 Fresh Cascade Sour by Faculty Brewing

4.6% ABV • 13 IBU • Draught only

Faculty collaborated with Myrtle Meadows farms in Pemberton for the return of this delicious fresh-hopped sour wheat ale. Fresh Cascade hops bring notes of citrus and lychee with subtle floral notes, while the wheat base provides a smooth mouthfeel.
