Brewers Row will have a vacancy soon

A member of Port Moody’s Brewers Row has announced it’ll be closing before the end of the year.
Moody Ales and Co. posted an announcement on social media Thursday, stating it’ll lock up for good on Dec. 14, 2025.
“This was not an easy decision, and we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has supported us, gathered with us, and enjoyed our beers over the years,” reads the post.
Located at 2601 Murray St. in Port Moody, Moody Ales was one of the first brewers on the street in 2014.
Over the years, it racked up a series of awards from the BC Beer Awards, including the Judges’ Choice for their Oktoberfest brew in 2023.
“To our incredible staff, our community, and all of you who have shared a pint with us along the way, we are truly grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every moment spent together,” reads the post.
While the brewery has announced it’s closing, it also notes its beers might still be found.
“Although our doors will be closing, you will still be able to find Moody beers out in the world at the liquor stores, pubs, and restaurants that have been proudly carrying our products over the years.” reads the post.
“We hope you continue to enjoy them wherever you find them.”
Update: Dec. 8, 2025
In an email to V.I.A. the brewery explained Moody Ales would continue to brew up until closing, and their beers would be available around Metro Vancouver for a period after the brewery and taphouse had shuttered.
“You will still see Moody beers on shelves and taps for a little while as their inventories sell through,” reads the email. “We want to make sure people continue to buy from these liquor stores, pubs, and restaurants that have stood by us. Their support has meant a lot, and we’re grateful they’ve helped keep Moody beers available during this last chapter.”
