Port Alberni’s Twin City Brewing is the winner of the coveted 2020 Best Brewery Experience Award by the B.C. Ale Trail, announced this week. The award recognizes breweries that not only brew fantastic beer, but offer exceptional food and a unique craft beer experience in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Twin City joins previous winners Townsite Brewing in Powell River and Land & Sea Brewing in Comox.

Twin City has put itself on the increasingly crowded B.C. craft beer map since opening in 2017 thanks to its award-winning beers and equally delicious food. In 2018, Twin City won four medals at the B.C. Beer Awards, including Best In Show for its Late Bloomer strawberry hibiscus sour ale. In 2019, Twin City won seven medals in The Growler’s own craft beer readers’ poll awards, including the Unsung Hero Award for best small-town brewery.

You can read all about what makes Twin City the best in B.C. over at the B.C. Ale Trail blog.
