The Brewer’s Row spot is expected to open this summer.

Just over a month after Moody Ales announced it was leaving Port Moody’s popular Brewer’s Row, a North Vancouver brewery is sharing plans to move into the space.
North Point Brewing is moving into 2601 Murray St. and intends to open this summer, according to a post on social media. The brewery wants to turn the space into a craft beer tasting room more than a second brewery.

“This new location is getting a full transformation — we’ll be selling off most of the large brewing tanks to open the space right up, creating a tasting room that flows from the front of the building all the way through to a second patio at the back,” reads the post from North Point.
The vibe of the transformed tasting room will be inspired by long weekend on B.C.’s Gulf Islands.

“This space is all about community — supporting local artists, live music, creative collaborations, small events, fundraisers, and gatherings that bring people together,” reads the post.
To that end, there will be projectors for events or “special sporting moments.”
The brewery also plans to open a dog-friendly patio, with casual games and flexible seating.

Renovations start soon, North Point says.
We’ve reached out to the brewery for more information on the new business.
