North Point is taking over the space left empty when Moody Ales closed.

Port Moody’s Brewery Row has a new member.
North Point has joined the beer destination with its second location. The North Vancouver-based craft brewer is bringing the original’s cabin-vibes to 2601 Murray St.
Founded in 2019 by three friends who were inspired by time at Thormanby Island off the Sunshine Coast, North Point has won multiple awards over the last seven years, including for its Banana Pancakes, a Hefeweizen that tastes like a bunch of bananas.
“Similar to their Lower Lonsdale location, the venue features a versatile semi-private event space for up to 50 guests—perfect for staff parties, birthdays, team socials, and other celebrations,” reads a press release from North Point.

The new location quietly opened in late August, with 20 taps for beer and a dog-friendly patio.
Along with the brews, the new North Point will have sports up on the screens and live music on the weekends.
Food will be available from Chop and Chew, another North Vancouver food spot.
Previously, the Port Moody location was home to Moody Ales and Co., which shuttered in late 2025.
