The craft beer vets are replaced a restaurant that closed during the pandemic.
Squamish’s Howe Sound Brewing has expanded. The craft beer biz is opened a taphouse restaurant in East Vancouver on October 16th.
The new restaurant replaces Nonna’s Table at The Waldorf Hotel (1489 E Hastings St), which closed during the COVID pandemic.
The Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen will be open from 7 a.m. daily. Breakfast service will kick off the day (liquor service begins at 10 a.m.), followed by an all-day menu available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Happy Hour will be offered from 3 to 5 p.m., with a late-night menu on offer from 10 p.m. to closing, which will be midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
“Step into our East Van Taphouse & Kitchen where our familiar classic brewpub menu awaits, from pizzas and burgers to shareables and salads,” says the restaurant on its website.
Howe Sound Brewing began in Squamish in 1996, with the help of B.C. brewing legend John Mitchell.
