After a one-year hiatus, B.C.’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration has announced that it will be back for 2019 with a massive new venue.
Harvest Haus will be moving out of Downtown Vancouver and headed to the expansive PNE Forum in East Van for two weekends, October 10-12 and 18-19, 2019. Returning will be the iconic branded steins, delicious marketplatz fare, oompah music and a wide selection of German lagers and B.C. craft beer.
In addition to a bigger hofbrauhaus, Harvest Haus will also be adding a new all-ages festival: Harvestland. According to organizers, “while Harvest Haus will remain strictly a 19+ affair, the surrounding grounds outside the Halle will feature a variety of traditional and imaginative activities for individuals and families. From a cultured renaissance village to a spirited woodland maze, a return of our adrenaline-inducing axe throwing experience and a ‘kinder farm’ for the younger merrymakers, there will be plenty to capture your attention alongside the festive thrill of the Harvest Haus Halle.”
Tickets will be purchased separately for both Harvest Haus and Harvestland, but a ticket to Harvest Haus guarantees you access to Harvestland on the same day.
Early bird tickets go on sale in August. For more info, visit Harvest.land/haus/
