The pace of new brewery openings isn’t quite as sizzling as it used to be— probably not surprising given current economic realities—but there are still a handful of exciting openings to look forward to.

Boltage Brewing

Squamish (late 2023) This is a new venture from the owner of Streetcar Brewing in North Vancouver.

Connector Brewing

West Kelowna (fall 2023) Look for this new spot to open in the fall or winter. What makes it unique is that its kitchen menu will be entirely vegan.

House of Lager

Squamish (summer 2024) This offshoot of House of Funk Brewing is under construction as part of the Oceanfront Squamish development.

Jordan River Brewing

Jordan River (spring 2024) Construction is underway on this gorgeous new facility that will definitely become a destination brewery close to Juan de Fuca Provincial Park on the way to Port Renfrew.

Post & Row Brewing

Dawson Creek (2023) This popular taphouse is getting close to brewing its own beer.

Long-term watch list: Curious Creatures Beer Co. (Fraser Valley), Everyday Brewing (Nanaimo), Lumberjack Brewing (Grand Forks), Strathcona Brewing – North Shore (North Vancouver), Trailhead Brewery (Cranbrook).
