Tickets for the 10th annual B.C. Beer Awards and Festival are on sale now, and if previous years are anything to go by, tickets won’t be around for much longer.
The annual celebration of B.C. craft beer takes place Oct. 19, 2019, at the Croatian Cultural Centre with 45 breweries on hand pouring their award-winning beers, as well as a selection of B.C. ciders presented by the B.C. Farmed Craft Cider Association.
The night will feature the B.C. Beer Awards presentation with 30-plus beer categories, as well as Best in Show, People’s Choice, Rookie of the Year, Brewery of the Year, Innovator of the Year and the Brewer’s Challenge.
In keeping with the BCBA’s “Aged 10 Years” theme, this year’s Brewer’s Challenge is barrel-aged beer, so expect some phenomenal limited release and impossible-to-find beers on offer.
New this year will be The Rec Room, presented by BREWHALL and Great Little Box Company. The side room will be filled with interactive games, music, food and prizes, as well as a 10 year anniversary photo booth set up for all your Instagram photo ops. Food sponsor Tap & Barrel will also be serving up a build-your-own taco bar.
Tickets start at $40 for early bird general admission (until Aug. 31, $50 thereafter) and include four drink tokens and a 10-year commemorative tasting glass. VIP Awards Hour Tickets start at $60 and allow you early entry to the awards presentation, a welcome drink, six drink tokens and a 10-year commemorative tasting glass.
Tickets are available online at BCBeerAwards.com/tickets-2019.
