Ball-O-Ween

Oct. 31, 5-10 p.m. • Phillips Brewing, Victoria

Phillips Brewing is having an epic Halloween party with delicious treats and Halloween-inspired cask ales, hosted by the Pride of Frankenstein: Phillips’ own, Dan Ball! Creepy beats courtesy of in-house DJ crew, Crates of Wrath, with prizes for the best Phillips themed costume, best group costume and most creative costume, as well as a limbo contest (contests and prizes awarded between 8-9 p.m.). Halloween Costume Party @ Alchemy Brewing

Alchemy Brewing’s first-ever Halloween Costume Party features prizes, food and drink specials and some spooky tunes from DJ KingKongFinger. Tickets available in house.

 

Spooky Movie Night @ Strange Fellows

It’s the strangest night of the year, so come down to Strange Fellows for a scary movie night. There will be beer (of course), free popcorn and classic spooky horror flicks all night long.

 

Day of the Dead Fiesta

Nov. 2, 6 p.m.-12 a.m. • Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers, North Vancouver

Deep Cove is celebrating the release of its Molé Stout with a Mexican-themed party, complete with live Flamenco music, traditional Mexican cuisine and a tequila bar serving up margaritas and palomas. Live music by Mariachi Del Sol from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include one beer ticket. Tickets available online here.

 

Luppolo Brewing turns 3

Nov. 2, 12 p.m.-12 a.m. • Luppolo Brewing, Vancouver

Come celebrate three years of delicious beers at Luppolo with an all-day party. The tasting room will be in full effect with live music from Timmy P and The Pumps, free Italian aperitivo snacks, and a bunch of special and limited release beers on tap. The brewhouse will be open to the public so you can check out Luppolo behind the scenes, chat with the brewers and learn more about how your favourite beer is made. Free entry, subject to capacity.
