Tickets go on sale today for Victoria Beer Week, returning March 6–14, 2020, with 15 events to choose from.
The week-long libation celebration starts with the Lift Off! event on March 6 at the Victoria Public Market, with more than a dozen B.C. breweries pouring brand new, never-before-released beers. The $50 ticket includes six drink tickets, two food tickets and a souvenir tasting glass.
March 7 is the always popular All About The Wood event, featuring some of the most exclusive barrel-aged beers made in B.C.
The Street Eats Brewery Tour (March 7 and 14) combines Victoria’s best food trucks and breweries for an all-inclusive beer and food walking tour with behind-the-scenes access to three local breweries.
If you think you know your beer, come down to the Ultimate Craft Beer Quiz on March 9 at Northern Quarter and try to take down the VBW Dream Team, consisting of the “Thirsty Writer” Joe Wiebe and Growler editor Rob Mangelsdorf (hey, that’s me!) at this beer-themed trivia night.
VBW finishes up with Saturday Night Casks on March 14 with 25-plus unique cask creations from across the province.
