Fresh to Death, B.C.’s biggest fresh hop beer festival, returns to the Roundhouse in Victoria on Saturday, Oct. 12, with 20 B.C. breweries on hand offering seasonal fresh-hopped beers. The style list runs the gamut from pale ales and IPAs (naturally) to lagers, saisons and even pumpkin beers.
Vessel Liquor will also be on-site hosting a pop-up liquor store selling bottles and cans of the fresh-hop and related beers from participating breweries.
The annual celebration of the hop harvest runs from 2-5pm, with VIP entry at 1pm. Tickets start at $30 (plus tax and fees) and include a four-ounce sampler glass and four beer tickets. VIP tickets are $50 and include early entry, eight beer tickets and an exclusive guided tasting of four fresh hopped beers led by Certified Cicerone Jeff Kendrew. Members of the Victoria Beer Society can get a $5 discount on general admission tickets. For tickets visit VictoriaBeerSociety.com.
