This new pale ale from Kamloops’ Red Toque Collar Brewing features a fruit-forward blend of Ekuanot, Amarillo and Mosaic hops. From the brewery: “A Dog Aquatic is a gently hopped pale ale featuring an array of aromatic hops, perfect for red toqued expeditions and best enjoyed below sea level. P.S. Do you ever wish you could breathe underwater? (DISCLAIMER: This beer will NOT give you the ability to breathe underwater).”
Available in bombers and on draught at the tasting room, and in stores throughout Kamloops, with wider distribution coming soon.

Victoria’s two newest breweries teamed up for this tart little number: a dry Berliner Weisse with Nelson Sauvin Hops and aged on Shiro Plums harvested from local backyards through LifeCycles’ community Fruit Tree Project, which makes sure local backyard fruit doesn’t go to waste. On tap now at both breweries and in Victoria liquor stores next week.
