On tap! New beers from Phillips, Foamers’ Folly and Faculty

4.2% ABV • 473 mL tall cans

Oro Blanco, AKA “White Gold,” is Phillips’ latest tall can seasonal release. This sour ale is brewed with a blend of wheat, house-malted barley, grapefruit and lime juices, and promises to be a “bright and refreshingly tart grapefruit sour that shimmers across the palate.”
Only available for a limited time from private craft focused liquor stores.

7.0% ABV • 26 IBUs • 650 mL bottles

Pitt Meadows’ Foamers’ Folly reckons this hazy juice bomb is its hoppiest beer yet, dry-hopped with veritable mountains of Galaxy, Citra and Amarillo. The malt bill promises to be “cracker-dry” in order to showcase the notes of tropical fruit, citrus and peach.

4.7% ABV • 18 IBUs • Draft only

This glistening ruby lager boasts delicious malty flavours with a hint of caramel. Floral hop notes and mild bitterness balance out this beer, resulting in a very easy drinking red lager. 196 Red Lager is only available on draft and at the brewery for now.
