On Tap: New beers from Mariner, Steel & Oak and Russell

Here are some of the new releases we’re keeping an eye out for this week at the ol’ bottle shop.

Blush Rosé Saison by Steel & Oak Brewing Co.

6.0% ABV • 4 x 473 mL cans

Released in collaboration with West Coast Canning as part of their Canned Good initiative, Blush was brewed with pilsner, spelt, flaked wheat, and acidulated malt and fermented with saison yeast. It then sat on Merlot and Cab Franc grape skins from Steel & Oak’s neighbours at Pacific Breeze Winery and was can conditioned for six weeks to give it a refreshing rosé-like quality.

Partial proceeds of all packaged sales will go to The Camp Kerry Society to help them continue their important work in bereavement care.
