Imperial breakfast stout • 9.0% ABV • 750 mL bottles

This rich and powerful bourbon barrel-aged breakfast stout was brewed with freshly roasted coffee beans from Timbertrain Coffee Roasters and pure single-origin liquid cacao from Ecuador. Based on Strange Fellow’s Boris Russian Imperial Stout, Breakfast with Boris has flavours of peat smoke, oak, vanilla and rich malt, all layered with aromatic coffee and chocolate. This exceptional beer was originally released last year as part of Strange Fellows’ Fellowship Program, and we’re excited to see it getting a wider release, because it’s damn tasty! The official launch takes place this Friday, Jan. 17, 2020. Come by the brewery for a side-by-side tasting of both the new release and last year’s vintage.

East Van-based Sundown Beer Co. has released this kölsch-style lagered ale, that promises to be light in colour with great malt character, slightly dry with a crisp finish. “A thirst quencher that will leave you wanting more,” according to the folks at Sundown. Currently available on tap and in cans at Container Brewing and select retail locations.
