If you weren’t lucky enough to make it to B.C. Hop Fest last weekend in Abbotsford to try all the delicious fresh-hopped beers in one convenient location, you’ll have seek them out on your own. Here’s a small sample of what’s currently available – you’d better act fast, though, because once they’re gone, they’re gone! (At least until next year.)

- Main Street Brewing’s Cashmere Fresh Hopped Farmhouse Ale. Juicy peach, melon and coconut hop characteristics with a tart finish from the Norwegian Kviek Voss yeast. 5% ABV, 25 IBU, available on draft and in bottles (limited release).
- Driftwood Brewery’s Sartori Harvest IPA. The one that started it all, still as flavourful as ever thanks to gobs of citrusy Centennial hops. 7% ABV, available on draft and in bottles province-wide.
- Powell Brewery’s Fresh Hopped Wild IPA. Tropical fruit and Brett funk take centre stage in this surprisingly balanced hop-bomb. 6.5% ABV, 50 IBU, available on draft and in tall cans province-wide.
- Faculty Brewing’s 379 Wet N Wild SMASH. Cascade hops and Sacc Trois yeast combine to make this aromatic ale one to remember. 5.2% ABV, 18 IBU, available on draft.
- Dageraad’s Wet-Hopped Blonde. This Belgian-style ale gets a juicy dose of Centennial hops for a refreshing combination of citrus and spice. 7.5% ABV, available in bottles province-wide.
