All Hallows Party

Oct. 25, 7-10 p.m. • Strange Fellows Brewing, Vancouver

Make sure you dress up for this spooky do, complete with delicious craft beer, Halloween games and a “strange” costume contest. Trick the wandering spirits and get yourself a treat! Free entry, spirits both living and dead are welcome. Strange Fellows will also be hosting a pumpkin carving event on Oct. 27 (1 p.m. until the pumpkins are gone) and a spooky movie night on Oct. 31 (7-10 p.m.). StrangeFellowsBrewing.com

Harrison Beer Fest

Oct. 25 and 26 • Harrison Hot Springs

This weekend of deliciousness features a cask night on the 25th and the main event on the 26th, with 20 craft breweries from the Fraser Valley and across the province pouring beers at the picturesque resort’s St. Alice Hall. HarrisonBeerFest.com

 

Firehall’s October Dinner Dance Party

Oct. 25, 6:30 p.m. • Firehall Brewery, Oliver

Firehall Brewery is coming to the aid of jam night regular, chef Sarren Wolfe of Penticton, who is fighting cancer, with a fundraising night at the brewery. Tickets are $20 to join the cause, and include dinner by Pappa’s Firehall Bistro and music by Jeremy Messenger. Tickets available on the event webpage.
