Vancouver Island Brewing and Mount Arrowsmith Brewing joined forces to create this fruity and spicy. The second in VIB’s collaboration series, it has a higher alcohol content than traditional saisons, with notes of both sweet and savoury.

Available in tall can four-packs and as part of the Harbour 8 Tall Can Mix Pack.

8.0% ABV • 650 mL bottles

Old Yale is re-releasing one of its popular Trailblazer Series brews, Weekend Warrior Double IPA. Featuring Chinook, Simcoe, Columbus and Centennial hops with pale and crystal malt, this big West Coast-style DIPA promises pine and resin, supported by a hint of tropical citrus and a pinch of dank goodness. “Hop forward all the way with a bit of malt, this is a true Weekend Warrior’s treat,” according to the brewery. 650ml bombers will be are available exclusively in BC Liquor Stores as well as at the Old Yale Tasting Room.

Ko Lanta by Dageraad Brewing

6.4% ABV • 650 mL bottle

Dageraad’s tropical take on a Belgian-style blonde ale features lime leaf and galangal. This beer was originally brewed for the brewery’s third anniversary, made from crowd-sourced recipe ideas from the entire staff. “Ko Lanta brings the bright, citrusy flavours of a Thai yellow curry to the fruity crispness of a Belgian blonde ale,” according to the brewery. “The resulting beer has citrusy and spice notes that layer over the yeast esters and blend with subtly herbal hops for a compelling and refreshing drink.”
