Burnaby’s Steamworks Brewery has teamed up with the Vancouver General Hospital Foundation to release a new pale ale with proceeds donated to fight COVID-19. Named after the nightly ritual of banging pots and pans in honour of healthcare workers who are putting their lives on the line during the COVID-19 crisis, 100% of the net proceeds from 7 O’clock Cheer will be donated to the VGH Foundation for COVID-19 response and research. Ingredients and labels were donated by Hops Connect, Gambrinus Malting and Westkey Graphics.
