Finesse by Neighbourhood Brewing

Belgian blonde • 6.0% ABV • 17 IBU • 355 mL cans

The newest release from Penticton’s Neighbourhood Brewing is as smooth and pleasant as its name suggests. According to the brewery, it’s “a beer full of flavour for even the slickest of operators. If you’re looking for some pointers on how to Finesse, this beer might teach you how.” Now available in the tasting room and select liquor stores.

Czech-style pale lager • 4.9% ABV • 30 IBU • 473 mL tall cans

Delta’s Four Winds Brewing presents this classic take on the original pale lager brewed in the city of Plzeň in the Czech Republic way back in 1842. “This light, crisp, and easy-drinking lager is both hoppy and malty, maintaining a unique balance that leaves you wanting more with every sip.⁣” Available now and in limited quantities at the brewery’s tasting room.

Plaskett’s Big D.I.P.A. by Moon Under Water Brewery

Double India pale ale • 8.0% ABV • 80 IBU • 650 mL bottles 

Originally brewed to celebrate the centennial of the Dominion Observatory in Saanich, built by John Plaskett in 1918, the 2021 edition of Plaskett’s Big D.I.P.A. from Victoria’s Moon Under Water Brewery is back with big, bright notes of pine, grapefruit and lime. Featuring a light base of pale malts, medium-high bitterness and a massive nose of fresh hop aromas. Available in liquor stores starting Jan. 6 and at Moon Under Water’s brew pub now.
