Endeavour by Morrow Beer Co.
Hazy pale ale • 5.4% ABV • 473 mL tall cans
Salmon Arm’s newest craft brewery opened this week and launched its first flagship beer. Morrow Beer Co.’s Endeavour Hazy Pale Ale is brewed with lots of fluffy oats and malted wheat and dry-hopped with oodles of juicy Pacific Northwest hop varieties. Endeavour will be available year-round in the tasting room and in tall cans, and will be available at local liquor stores and restaurants in the coming weeks.
Daffy Twister Spread by Backcountry Brewing
Pale ale • 5.5% ABV • 25 IBU • 473 mL tall cans
Squamish’s Backcountry Brewing is paying homage to the old school couch-surfing ski bum pioneers and their relentless pursuit of epic pow in all their neon one-piece glory with this pale ale. Brewed with Sultana, Southern Passion and Citra hops for heaps of juicy tropical citrus flavour. Available this Saturday at the brewery and shipping out province-wide next week.
Love Buzz Tangerine Creamsicle Sour
Fruited sour ale • 5.8% ABV • 8 IBU • 473 mL tall cans
East Vancouver’s Strathcona Beer Co. has released the latest version of its popular Love Buzz sour, which takes its inspiration from that creamy, delicious orange and ice cream treat. This imperial sour ale was made with generous amounts of tangerine juice, Madagascar bourbon vanilla, lactose and oats for a light body and a tart finish. Four-packs of tall cans now available at the brewery and at local liquor stores.
