6° by Dageraad Brewing

Belgian-style sour ale • 7.0% ABV • 650 mL bottles

This lightly soured dubbel was brewed with 400 pounds of Montmorency cherries. 6° promises to be “fruit-forward, [with a] rich and flavourful malt character giving a balanced structure while the tartness ensures the beer is never too heavy, always inviting the next sip.” Available at Dageraad’s Burnaby tasting room, online for local curbside delivery and Canada Post order provincewide and in select craft beer stores across B.C.

Raspberry Lemonade Sour Ale • 5.0% ABV • 473 mL tall cans

This sour ale by North Vancouver’s Beere Brewing is loaded with a healthy dose of raspberry puree, a little lemon to add some zip and a touch of dry hops to add some citrusy complexity. Brewed with oats for a smooth body and fermented with kviek for a little something extra.
