Newly opened Yeast Van craft brewery Container Brewing has released its first two beers in cans: Origin, a Northeast IPA; and Panamax, and ESB.

Origin promises to be a tropical, full-bodied hazy IPA with Galaxy and Ella hops. Meanwhile, Panamax is a malt-forward, West Coast take on the English extra special bitter style, with East Kent Goldings hops.

5.5% ABV • 473 mL tall cans

The latest in Old Yale’s Single Batch Limited Release series is this luscious IPA, featuring a blend of Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe hops, along with mango and hibiscus.

“Dripping with a rich, velvety flavor, the tropical and citrus notes balance the assertive bitterness that you’ve come accustom to in an Old Yale IPA,” according to the brewery.

6.5% ABV • 45 IBU • 473 mL tall cans

Apricot Jam is the third beer in Four Winds’ Jam Series of fruited lactose IPAs. Brewed with Amarillo and Denali hops, lactose (milk sugar), Saccharomyces Trois yeast and a touch of vanilla.

“There is a tender balance between the sweetness in the fruit/milk sugar and the bitterness of the hops. Make no mistake, fruit and milk sugar or not, this is still very much an IPA,” according to brewmaster Brent Mills.
