Craft beer and nearly-naked bodies are a pretty good combination is you ask us (which no one did, but there you go).
This Saturday is the sixth annual Beerlesque event at the Roundhouse Community Centre, which combines the very intoxicating worlds of craft beer and burlesque. Close to 20 craft breweries will be on hand pouring for your pleasure, while some of Vancouver’s most talented and gorgeous burlesque artists do their thing.
Confirmed burlesque performers are Burgundy Brixx, April O’Peel, Veronica Vex, Voracious V, and Scarlet Delirium Sabrina, with live music by the Spillionaires.
The beer lineup is looking pretty damn sexy too: Stanley Park Brewing, Fernie Brewing Company, Steel & Oak Brewing Co., Doan’s Craft Brewing Company, Powell Street Craft Brewery, Bridge Brewing Company, Off The Rail Brewing Co., Main Street Brewing, Hoyne Brewing Company, Strange Fellows Brewing, Parkside Brewery, Callister Brewing Company, Steam Whistle Pilsner, Postmark Brewing, Bomber Brewing, Granville Island Brewing, Spinnakers Brewpub, Red Truck Beer and Phillips Brewing & Malting Co.
Tickets are $49 online, and that includes 10 drink tickets (for your standard four-ounce beer fest pour), and the event runs 6-10:30pm this Saturday, Oct. 22. All proceeds go to Roundhouse Community programs.
Also, don’t be a dink, don’t drink and drive. There’s a Canada Line station across the street and parking is goddamn abysmal in Yaletown, so you have no excuses.
